I think the deal with Finn is that he’s always been so self-conscious about his image and his body, despite the fact that that is clearly photoshopped. Remember Season 2? He’s had a lot of instances where it’s clear that he’s very sensitive about that part of him. At first I was upset at how he was talking to Rachel, but then I felt very, very sad for him too. The fact that that photo getting out meant so much more to him than winning Regionals just once again shows us how much body image matters to him.

also, can I add how much hate Finn would have gotten if he’d wanted to sing and said he didn’t care about pictures of a photoshopped Rachel getting out?  Fandom would have killed him.
